Vietnam :: NW Warmup :: 2011
After eight years without riding a motorbike thanks to University commitments, and as I had never even seen Vietnamese roads or traffic, I went for a guided 4 day tour of the North West of Vietnam before setting out solo.
Voyage Vietnam provided a Russian Minsk bike and the riding gear. I spent the second day riding with a larger group from Voyage Vietnam who were doing a longer tour.
I’d just spent 2 weeks in a Chinese hospital in the ICU and wanted to do something a little exciting to celebrate getting through it.
Unlike for the solo part of my adventure, here I have not added details of what happened each day, just a few pics.
